Privacy Policy

Privacy matters but it can be confusing. This page explains our approach to privacy on website and how it affects you.

We collect anonymous statistics about your visit, such as which of our pages you viewed.

Some third parties (Facebook/Twitter/etc.) may know you visited this website if you use their services.

If you sign up with us we take great care to keep your information safe and we never share it with others without your express permission.

We never share your data with third parties except to help us deliver our own services.

Measuring our visitors

We measure visitors to our website using Google Analytics. This records what pages you view within our site, how you arrived at our site and some basic information about your computer. All of that information is anonymous – we don’t know who you are – just that somebody visited our site.

The information we collect from analytics helps us understand what parts of our sites are doing well, how people arrive at our site and so on. This information is used to improve our website.

Facebook, Twitter and other social networks

These services provide social buttons and similar features which we use on our website – such as the “Like” and “Tweet” buttons.

We embed the required code and we do not control the process ourselves. This may mean that the social network may know if you’re logged in to their site; for example Facebook use this to say “x of your friends like this”. We do not have any access to that information, nor can we control how those networks use it.

Social networks therefore could know that you’re viewing this website, if you use their services (that isn’t to say they do, but their policies may change).

If you sign up for a service

When you sign up for any of our services – paid or otherwise – we will record specific personal information about you, such as your name and email address.

We will also collect and store information about your use of our services so as to improve them. For example, we keep a log of what features are being used at any time.

We also log account and transaction history for accounting purposes, and to monitor our business activities.

Emails

We may send you email notifications regarding your service (such as invoices and tickets) or which you have specifically requested or are generated as part of a transaction.

We will never provide your personal information or email address to any third parties except where they are specifically employed to help deliver our own services, as detailed above.

Online payment

We use Square (squareup.com) to bill for our products online. This company will have access to your personal and payment information. When paying by credit card online, Kandya Limited never has any access to your credit card details.

When paying via telephone, we do not record your debit or credit card details in any of our systems. Details are entered into our secure payment processor's systems, all of which meet current PCI security requirements and are considered industry safe.

We share information with these companies only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing payments you make via our website or telephone booking system.

To process any payments with you, you may need to enter a one-time password(OTP), also known as a one-time PIN,one-time authorization code(OTAC) or dynamic password supplied to you by your card issuer, normally via a Short Message Service (SMS) text. You may be prompted to complete this step during the checkout process, after you have entered your credit card details. Failure to enter this code will result in the failure of the transaction.

Where we are processing the payment on your behalf, as part of a 'customer not present transaction', you may still receive an SMS from the card issuer. This OTP/OTAC will need to be provided to us to allow completion of the transaction. Failure to provide the OTP/OTAC to the box office when required may result in the transaction becoming void, and Kandya being unable to continue until an alternative payment method is processed.

We will NEVER ask for your card pin number, and you must never provide it to us.

Security

Kandya Limited take many precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. These precautions include:

  • Hardware stored in secured data centres behind firewalls
  • All access to information restricted by password and/or secure key
Whilst we take great care to ensure any confidential information remains protected we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the Internet.

Of course you are responsible for keeping your password, PIN and user details confidential. We will never ask you for your password or PIN number, so please don’t trust anybody asking you for it.

Updates to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, particularly due to technology changes. You can always check this page for the latest version. We may also notify you of changes to our privacy policy by email.
